I head home today from the CAPPA Conference. This year has been so inspiring due to our new leader (the amazing Jill Reiter) and the new direction she is providing for doulas and educators, especially her focus on bringing equity and inclusivity into our organization so we can better address the needs of all families.

One of my favorite things about CAPPA has always been the focus on postpartum professionals (its even in the name!) but having Jill at the helm as a postpartum doula means so much to me. Much of our leadership team does this work and knows the value of support after baby (heart squee!)

As if I didn't love CAPPA enough--now I couldn't be prouder to represent this organization that really values its members, and wants to continue to improve the support for professionals who serve families before and after birth.
