Finding New Love

I try to explain this to expectant parents in class.
"It's like, when you first fall in love and didn't mind being up all night or missing things because you are high on love."

"It's like hosting a visitor that you are deeply in love with, yet can't speak their language and they can't survive without you."

"It's like taking your heart out of your chest and adding limbs and a desperately cute face."

But really. Until you have found that place in your heart that you didn't know was there, I can't really tell people what it is like. But when it happens, you know.
