We're Here to Help

This week I have been reflecting on the clients that call after baby is past the immediate newborn period. When babies get harder, not easier, and when parents start to hit the wall. They often feel like they are spent, and don't know who else to call. (More on why babies get harder here.)

Doulas are a wonderful help when parents need a break. Or when parents need to run some questions by someone who knows babies well, understands their needs and cues, and can help parents problem solve their challenges.

And doulas also can just provide expert baby care, which is welcome when parents are ready to share their babies for a bit.

We get these calls all the time. We don't judge. We don't expect you to want to be with your babies all the time. We don't have parenting expectations or bring baggage about how you 'should' be doing this new baby thing. We just help.
