Wrap Yourself in Love

I loved this image of wrapping up a family! The doula role is one of outside support that doesn't feel invasive, doesn't have baggage attached, doesn't get in the way of family relationships. I love that we can cushion the experience of arriving home after baby comes. That our support fills the gaps, making it seem easier to adjust to everything a new baby brings. And when our families tell me their lives are changed because they had a doula, I know they mean it.

I'm so thankful to have a team of doulas (and to train doulas!) who know how to help families. Not just with sleep, but with gentleness, wisdom, and nurturing. The kind that has the focus of helping make a happier family and better memories from the very beginning.
