New to Portland?

As I prep to make a teaching trip to PDX, I think about all the families over the past 18 years who have called to say, "We don't have family here, and our baby is due in a couple months."

Portland is growing so rapidly, and families are welcoming babies far away from their extended family. This creates a need for care, for expertise, for hands that are trained and experienced. Doulas can do this. And we do it without judgement, expectations, or needing to be given instructions.
